DND is a selective residency. We consider your professional work, and creative intent as the highest importance in the selection process.

You can apply as an artist, writer, or curator who seeks to focus on drawing during your stay on the FM Compound.

2026 is currently full. We will open our 2027 session application later this year.

Each month long residency session costs $995 and includes furnished lodging in the cabin, 24 hour access to the treehouse studio, 24 hour access to the gallery, access to outdoor workspaces, utilities, internet, television streaming, off street parking, and a small introductory gathering with members of Denver’s creative community. Residencies are partially subsidized to support access for working artists.
