Schedule and availability

DND is a selective residency. We consider the quality of your creative work and your intentions for the residency as the most important factors in the selection process.

Artists, writers, and curators are welcome to apply if they seek to focus on drawing during their stay on the FM Compound.

To apply, you will provide your name, email address, website, a statement of interest and intent.

Residencies are scheduled in monthly sessions, though residents are not required to stay for the entire month. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Available residency months are listed below and updated as sessions fill.

Each month-long residency session costs $1,200 and includes furnished lodging in the cabin, 24-hour access to the treehouse studio, 24-hour access to the gallery, access to outdoor workspaces, utilities, internet, television streaming, and off-street parking. Residents may apply for one, two, or up to three consecutive monthly sessions, subject to availability.
