The Drawing Never Dies (DND) art residency is a drawing specific opportunity for those who normally live and work outside of Colorado. It is geared towards the directness and simplicity of drawing as well as the importance of a creative environment. We provide a small studio in a tree and an efficient private living situation. We do not provide regular meals but guests have a kitchenette and we arrange one meal with professionals from the regional art scene to foster community and forge new connections.

We offer a small yet inspiring setting for focusing on contemplative and creative practice. The new environment as well as the time and space to nurture your work ideally offers opportunity for personal growth and artistic evolution. It’s the perfect environment for an artist to flourish.

The ideal candidate for this residency is easygoing, creative, open-minded, has a genuine excitement for their practice and creating art in an exciting new location (like a treehouse in Denver, Colorado). We value heterodoxy and encourage artists from diverse backgrounds, viewpoints and drawing approaches to apply.

If this describes you we welcome your application and hope to work together.
